GC3 = Grand Celestial Gauntlet - Stage 3.

Commonly referred to by their first letter(s) and Stage number, e.g. Raid weapons are generally stronger than their PvE counterparts, but require drops from completing 12-person raids.

For this reason it is advised to obtain at least a 6-slot Stage 1 weapon before upgrading to minimize costs. The weapons can be generated with 3 to 8 gem slots, though more can be added with Legendary Gem Hammers or (rarely) upon upgrading to a higher Stage. The Stage 1 weapon can be acquired by evolving an Unrefined Scaleburn Gauntlet with a Light Stone or Dark Stone, or by opening a Light Weapon - Stage 1 Chest/ Dark Weapon - Stage 1 Chest (Light for Seraph, Dark for Baleful). Beginning at Stage 10, they can be upgraded into a PvE or Raid weapon for further evolution. They can be evolved to increase their stats, including a significant bonus to certain skills at Stages 1, 4, and 7. They can be exchanged for the other version at the same Stage at the cost of 9 and 10.
